Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• LMW Management: Oversee the operation, preparation, submission, and maintenance of all Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) documentation, including duty and tax exemption applications, permits, reporting, and audit support (e.g. LMW reports, raw materials, finished goods, sub‑contractor reports, M1, M2, M3/M4, etc.).
• Logistics Coordination: Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure accurate stock movement and full inventory traceability. Monitor logistics costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and implement measures to improve cost efficiency while controlling departmental budgets.
• Shipment Management: Liaise with internal departments, freight forwarders, agents, and transport providers to coordinate and monitor all import and export shipments efficiently.
• Customs Clearance: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant customs clearance for raw materials, components, and finished goods. Handle applications for Certificates of Origin (COO) and preferential trade agreements such as ATIGA (Form D) and AIFTA with MITI, including cost analysis to ensure qualification.
• Audit Support: Conduct periodic self‑audits and assist in external customs audits and inspections to maintain compliance readiness.
• Customs Compliance: Ensure full compliance with the Malaysian Customs Act 1967, LMW regulations, and AEO Guidelines, including timely and accurate reporting to Royal Malaysian Customs (JKDM).
• Authorized Economic Operator (AEO): Manage and maintain compliance related to the AEO program, specifically for import and export activities.
• ISO Management: Oversee daily team activities to ensure efficient task execution and strict adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare comprehensive logistics and compliance performance reports, analyze trends, and provide insights and improvement recommendations for management review.
• Ad‑hoc Duties: Perform other administrative and ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with relevant hands‑on experience in LMW operations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping or logistics operations within a manufacturing company holding an LMW or GPB license.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage hands‑on LMW and AEO operations.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve logistics and shipping issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Possession of a valid Customs Agent Course (Kursus Ejen Kastam – KEK) certificate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Must be willing to work in Shah Alam and travel when required.

Key Requirements

Must‑Have

• Strong familiarity with Customs requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Knowledge of the Harmonized System (HS) Code.
• Possession of a valid Customs Agent Course (KEK) certificate.
• Experience with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001).

Good‑to‑Have

• Experience using AEO systems, including issuing Permission Request Slips (PRS), Consolidation Statements (CS), and related documentation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Glovia, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Experience in supervising or leading team members.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
