Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or Life Sciences (with optical experience).
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply — full training will be provided.
- Interest in optical lenses, eye care technology, and education.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Willing to travel (20–40%).
Proficient in English; other languages (Mandarin, BM, or regional languages) are a plus.
Responsibilities
1. Education & Training
- Conduct training, workshops, and product demos for optometrists and optical staff.
- Help create simple and engaging training materials for new lens technologies.
- Support education events both physically and online.
2. Technical & Clinical Support
- Provide technical advice on lens selection, fitting, and usage.
- Assist practitioners in understanding frame-fitting parameters (tilt, wrap, vertex distance).
- Support the market with day‑to‑day technical enquiries.
3. KOL & Academic Relations
- Assist in connecting with universities, industry associations, and key opinion leaders.
- Support small clinical projects, case sharing, and professional talks.
4. Commercial Support
- Work with the Sales and Marketing team during new product launches.
- Share market insights and feedback gathered from practitioners.
- Help ECPs understand how STEPPER lens technologies benefit their patients.
5. Content Accuracy & Compliance
- Ensure training content and product information are correct and aligned with company standards.
6. Reporting & Improvements
- Keep track of training activities, feedback, and improvement ideas.
- Provide simple monthly summaries to management.
7. Travel
- Travel within Malaysia and occasionally to APAC countries for trainings and events.
