Job description

Ascentium Max Sdn Bhd – Damansara, Selangor

To support Singapore CGO on all governance, legal and agreement work including standardising MSA/LOE initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Contract Negotiation & Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, sales contracts, and NDAs.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring the company operates within legal standards, identifying risks, and advising on employment laws, intellectual property, PDPA and corporate governance.

Legal Advisory: Work with CGO to provide legal solutions that align with business goals.

Litigation and Dispute Resolution: work with SG CGO to manage external counsel and handling lawsuits, disputes, and internal investigations.

Corporate Governance: Managing legal documentation and corporate structure.

Projections : Support Singapore CGO on MSA/SOW initiative and other projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Expertise:A law degree (Juris Doctor or equivalent)

PQE – 3 years with practical experience in corporate law or a related professional services industry

Commercial Acumen:The ability to understand the organization's drivers and translate complex legal concepts into actionable business advice.

Technological Fluency:Proficiency in using legal technology, AI-powered tools for contract analysis, and data analytics to improve legal department efficiency.

Communication & Collaboration:Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse departments such as HR, Finance, and IT.
