Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor litigation files and timelines
• Liaise with clients, courts and relevant stakeholders
• Assist partners & senior lawyers on litigation matters

CHAMBERING STUDENT

• We are looking for individuals who are interested in learning civil litigation.
• Pupils will learn how to carry out client consultation, begin a new file, draft pleadings, set matters down for trial and attend at hearings / trials in Court.
• Pupils should have their own means of transport.

Qualifications and Requirements

JUNIOR LAWYER (LITIGATION)

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university
• Completed pupillage / chambering
• Experience in litigation is an added advantage (Fresh lawyers encouraged to apply)
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage)
• Good drafting, research and analytical skills
• Able to work independently (not applicable to Chambering student position), resourceful, responsible
• Able to manage files, monitor deadlines & attend court matters
• Meticulous, disciplined, and able to multitask
• Strong advocacy skills and willingness to learn
• Must possess good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude
