To review, update and develop lesson plans, scheme of work, lectures/ practical, tutorials, assignments, class discussion in compliance with the syllabus.
To conduct lectures, tutorials, discussion to facilitate teaching and learning.
To supervise final year project/dissertation.
To monitor and report student progress in term of academic performance and attendance.
To set and mark the assessments.
To provide academic counselling and pastoral care to all students.
To involve in research activity.
A Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
Prior teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred. Fresh graduates with a strong academic record may be considered for junior positions.
Must have at least 1-3 years of working experience as an academic at the tertiary level, with a demonstrated track record in teaching, research, and supervising students.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to a positive organizational culture.
Good presentation skills and command in written and spoken English
