Job summary

  • Provide guidance on curriculum and student learning.
  • Adapt to a multi-cultural setting and manage diverse student groups.
Job description

Developing & delivering quality teaching material at foundation, Diploma, Bachelor Degree & Master levels;

Carrying out assessment, monitoring and evaluation of student work, and providing an academic and consultative support to students in their learning activities;

Providing academic input for course development and new courses;

Engaging in research, consultancy and development work as appropriate;

Participating in committees appropriate to courses and meetings convened by management;

Maintaining appropriate records and making available information as required by management;

Engaging in promotion including student recruitment as appropriate;

Provide input and guidance on the direction of student learning and curriculum;

Creative with an ability to adapt to a multi-cultural setting and to handle students of different nationalities.

Requirements

A minimum qualification of a Master's Degree in a relevant field is required; a Ph.D. (Doctoral Degree) is strongly preferred;

Chartered Membership of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT) is highly desirable.

Excellent teaching, communication skills and team-work;

3 years teaching experience in a University or Highly Education Institution;

Demonstrable and sufficient knowledge is essential, derived from both educational background and practical industry experience, specifically within Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Operations Management.
