Learning & Development Specialist
We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Grant and Claim Management: Oversee the entire process of grant applications and claim submissions through the online Portal.
- Budget Management: Monitor the company's HRD Corp levy account, manage training budgets, and ensure the efficient utilization of funds.
- Learning Management System (LMS) and Training Requisitions: Upkeep of the LMS by handling course set-up, enrolment, attendance tracking, and course content updates while also managing training requisitions to ensure timely and efficient processing.
- Coordinate Learning & Development (L&D) Initiatives, including for MODEC Academy: Plan and execute end-to-end L&D initiatives, ensuring smooth execution.
- Program Management & Facilitation: Lead and coordinate events such as the orientation program for new employees, ensuring they receive a comprehensive introduction to the organization, its culture, and key policies. This includes scheduling sessions, preparing materials, facilitation and engaging with new hires to address their questions and needs.
- Training Catalogue & Vendor Coordination: Maintain an up-to-date internal training catalogue and manage vendor relationships to streamline course registration, resolve training inquiries, coordinate logistics, and handle invoice processing efficiently.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support day‑to‑day L&D matters, addressing queries and performing other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource, Business Administration or related fields.
- Preferably 4‑6 years of experience in Learning & Development.
- Good organisational, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel & Powerpoint is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity.
