Position: Lead/Senior, Software Engineer
Salary: up to RM20,000 (based on work experience and position)

Lead Software Engineer
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Pega CPM, CPMI, SFA, and Pega marketing frameworks (for Pega)
- Strong design and programming skills in COBOL/400 Programming, SMART/400 COBOL Programming, AS/400 Control Language (CL) and AS400 server-side related technologies (For Core & Enterprise)
- Experience in Insurance domain will be added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega BPM applications as a Senior/Lead System Architect for Customer Assisted Projects. (For Pega)
- Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements throughout the system lifecycle, while maintaining security and compliance. (For Pega)
- Analyze business and technical requirements; prepare functional, technical, and integration specifications (For Pega)
- Lead and manage Software Engineers on impact assessment, system design, development, testing, implementation and post-deployment verification (For Core & Enterprise).
- Design and develop solutions as according to user requirements by meeting the agreeable timeline, quality and performance standards (For Core & Enterprise).
- Analyze functional and technical solution requirements and participate in functional and technical solution specifications (For Core & Enterprise)
Senior Software Engineer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience, complex systems using AS400 Smart/COBOL programming.
- Proven hands-on experience with the GroupAsia in a support or development capacity.
- Proficiency in SMART/400, COBOL/400, CL/400, AS400/Query, and batch job automation tools such as ROBOT.
- Experience with integration and coding related to MQ and WebAPI.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain of the Group Insurance Policy Administration system, with a focus on the GroupAsia platform.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyze requirements, assess feasibility, and develop robust design specifications within time and cost constraints.
- Manage software configuration items (e.g., documentation, source code) and ensure traceability from development through to production.
- Deliver high-quality solutions within agreed SLAs and schedules, ensuring customer satisfaction.
