We are seeking an expert Lead - Renewable Segment to lead all marketing and sales activities for our renewable offering portfolio in the Malaysia region. This individual contributor role is responsible for driving substantial increases in sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction by developing and executing an integrated, data-driven customer strategy. The role reports to the Local Sales Manager / Country Managing Director and is based in Petaling Jaya.
As the Lead - Renewable Segment you will establish and grow customer relationships across all renewable channels in Malaysia, leading all marketing and sales efforts to achieve significant growth in sales, margins, and market share. This includes developing and implementing a robust market-based strategy, establishing loyalty programs, and ensuring consistency across all customer contact points. A critical component of the role is the utilization of customer data analytics and segmentation models to enable effective, targeted marketing, alongside driving sales through all possible channels. Furthermore, as an Expert Professional, you will be required to establish operational plans and implement new products, processes, or standards that enhance functional results, share best practices, and advance the organization’s renewable platform.
You will define and implement all sales and marketing activities but not limited to renewable products, services and systems in alignment to the given renewable strategy, ensure that the related product groups increase all relevant metrics in their selected market segments.
You will develop and implement a market-based approach which includes direct, third-party and project sales whilst building customer relationships with key stakeholders to educate, inform and solicit support for pursue renewable opportunities and convert them to orders.
Be the renewable champion or consultant internally within the local sales organizations (LSOs) to drive the renewable strategies and increase the awareness of renewable sales within the common sales organization. Act to facilitate the collaboration between the common sales organization and the renewable resources within the BU specific sales (either in the country or Hub).
You will review customers' renewable strategies and propose solutions in line with best practices and the Hitachi Energy portfolio keeping in view the renewable journey of the customer.

Requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales and account management within the energy sector, demonstrating a proven track record of success in selling and negotiating strategic, complex, customer-facing projects.
A management consulting background is preferred over a purely engineering background, emphasizing strategic acumen and business optimization skills.
Must possess a very strong understanding of the Electricity/Energy Infrastructure type assets development process, including their contractual and financial structures. Experience working for an Electricity Infrastructure developer is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change, coupled with a keen sense of initiative, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Excellent organizational skills, finely honed project management abilities, and well-developed communication skills are essential.
Fluent command of English (both written and spoken) is required, along with a willingness to travel for business assignments.
