Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team (Section Managers, Sellers, Merchandisers, etc.)
- Deliver monthly/quarterly sales targets (volume, value, market share)
- Drive sell-in and sell-out performance across General Trade, Modern Trade, and Key Accounts
- Execute initiatives (launches, promos, price changes)
- Act as the main contact point with the principal for business reviews and execution updates
- Ensure strict compliance with principles and KTC management policies, SOPs, trade terms, and reporting standards
- Prepare and present business reviews, forecasts, and execution reports to the principal and KTC management
- Expand and optimize numeric and weighted distribution
- Ensure effective coverage, call productivity, and outlet penetration
- Work closely with logistics and operations to maintain stock availability & freshness
- Coordinate merchandising teams to meet the principles of the Perfect Store
- Coach, train, and motivate the sales team on product knowledge
- Conduct regular field coaching, performance reviews, and KPI tracking
- Prepare sales forecasts, demand planning inputs, and promotional estimates
- Analyze sales trends, gaps, and market performance
- Recommend corrective actions to close performance gaps
- Work closely with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain & Warehouse, Finance (credit control, claims)
- Ensure smooth execution of promotions, launches, and stock planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of FMCG sales experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Strong experience in General Trade, Modern Trade, and/or Key Accounts
- Solid understanding of route-to-market, distribution management, and in-store execution
- Experience working with principals / multinational brands is an advantage
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop sales and merchandising teams
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting skills
- Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools
- Willing to travel and conduct regular field visits
- Mandarin-speaking candidates will be given priority due to business requirements
