A leading game development studio in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Animation Lead to oversee the quality of animations while working closely with the Creative Director, lead Artist, and lead Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience animating for games, a strong track record in managing teams, and proficiency in Maya or equivalent 3D software. The studio offers a collaborative environment with a Monday to Friday working schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience animating for games, with proven track record on shipped titles.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
• Extensive experience working in Maya (preferable) or equivalent 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Creative Director, lead Artist and lead Engineer to set quality standards and create animations.
• Communicate and work closely with design and engineering teams to create and implement animation systems.
• Manage the schedule and resources of the animation team.
