Job description

Responsible for timely documentation of technical design and specifications in accordance with the business specifications and company's project standards.

Ensure timely completion of software development within project schedule.

Compliance of development functions to System Development Guideline and Standards.

Quality of application developed and implemented within system specifications and user requirements.

Assimilation of the Group core competencies in dispensing his/her roles and responsibilities.

Keeping up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment.

Constant communication with team members/users/vendors.

Collaborate daily with upstream and downstream developers and engage in full software development lifecycle.

Perform technical support services for users in operations guidance and troubleshooting on all application systems.

Ability to lead system development team for guiding and reviewing the codes quality of the developer for senior position.

Develop and maintain the technical manuals, user guide and system operating procedures documentation.

Perform user requirements and system feasibility studies.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experiences

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.

At least 7 years of working experience in any related Java Web Based Financial Application and leading a development team.

At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in Java Springboot, Angular, HTML 5 and CSS related Technical knowledge.

Experience in Insurance / Financial industry is an added advantage.

Knowledge in software development fundamentals including testing, troubleshooting and using managed version control.

Experience in PostgreSQL/DB2/Oracle database as well as SQL programming like PL/SQL.

Ability to provide application solutioning, detail design and create component based reusable and testable modules and pages.

Experience in Maven scripting and pipelines for DEVECOPS automation.

Familiar with and/or have experience in Agile development.

Working Conditions

Working Hour: Monday to Friday, 8.30AM to 5.30PM.
