Laboratory Services Sales Representative

Position Summary

Laboratory Sales Representative (LSSR) drives laboratory testing revenue and margin growth within the Malaysia Sales Region for STERIS AST. The LSR is responsible for introducing and selling the value of STERIS laboratory service offerings to current and prospective Customers. The LSSR will research, identify, and assess new opportunities to achieve AST sales’ objectives. The LSR will assist in the negotiation and execution of long‑term laboratory processing agreements with support from the sterilization account management team.

Duties
  • Sells laboratory testing services associated with STERIS’ radiation and gas contract sterilization offerings.
  • Develops strong business relationships and achieves objectives relative to negotiating and securing long‑term agreements with Customers. Engages with Customers for contract review.
  • Evaluates account performance against established objectives and identifies and implements strategies and action plans to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Educates Customers on the various technical and commercial value propositions of AST sterilization methodologies to ensure the proper understanding and acceptance of our value‑added contributions.
  • Collaborates with partners in AST on One Team One Goal Customer Meetings that demonstrates the value of STERIS to drive outcomes that increase sales and profits.
  • Prepares and provides daily, weekly, and monthly statistical information for reporting purposes utilizing various computer modules/programs to ensure appropriate and accurate documentation and data report occurs. Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Contributes in a team effort by performing in accordance to all STERIS policies, GMP, Lean principles and other directives; supports the directives and decisions of higher level management and performs other duties as assigned.
