Job summary

Job description
Role and Responsibilities
  • Carry out analysis on incoming raw materials, in-line process samples, finished products, processing aids and packaging material (if any).
  • Prepare test report for raw materials, in-process samples, storage tank samples, finished products and calibration/verification of lab instrument.
  • Carry out housekeeping in laboratory and equipment/instrument and ensure GMP practice always in place in laboratory.
  • Arrange chemicals and consumable items into shelves/cabinet and chemical room.
  • Arrange retain samples movements in and out of retention room.
  • Prepare chemicals according to needs to ensure smooth testing/analysis operation.
  • Carry out analysis according to standard test method and follow quality monitoring program. Ensure analysis is done fast and accurate.
  • Perform sampling for tank samples, raw materials incoming and finished products outgoing.
  • Perform outgoing tanker / isotank / flexibag inspections.
  • Segregate, record and keep all types of documents and samples according to procedure.
  • Maintenance and proper recording of analysis data.
  • Communicate with other departments to provide test results.
  • Proactively communicate with superior to update on daily operations, especially if abnormal condition/situation observed and suggest improvement.
  • Comply with all quality standards, procedures, safety and discipline rules imposed by the Company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Success Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or diploma/STPM/certificate in relevant field or at least 1 year working experience in manufacturing background.
  • Basic knowledge in quality management or food/feed safety standard or strong QA/QC background is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English and Malay, both spoken and written.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to changing priorities and procedures.
  • Possess a positive attitude and good initiative, energetic and self-motivated.
