Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the lab operation teams.
• Assist in preparing Masterplan and updates.
• Prepare and analyze lab performance.
• Identify training needs and perform quarterly PMS for Technical team.
• Consult customers regarding lab operations.
• Manage new scope development programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
• Liaise with ISO auditors and external assessment bodies.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible in managing and lead the lab operation teams.
• Assist Lab Director in preparing Masterplan and regular updates accordingly
• Prepare and analyze lab performance
• Identify Training Needs Analysis and perform quarterly PMS for Technical team
• Communicate and consult customer in regards lab operation
• Business Development-Extension of Scope (if require)
• Managing and coordinating New Scope Development Program by planning and monitor progress
• Extend new scope of accreditation by developing technical documents
• Study basic instrument calibration and identify ref. equipment required for calibration
• ISO/IEC 17025:
• Ensure lab technical operations comply with ISO/IEC 17025 Management system
• Maintain reference equipment to meets the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• Review SAMM Policy documents and IEC reference standard such that the consistency of lab operations and traceability are maintained
• Oversee and implement all ISO/IEC 17025 documentations compliance, Internal & External audit activities related to ISO & QMS enforcement
• Liaise with the ISO auditors and external assessment body on all matters related to ISO/external accreditation process
• Organize and plan Proficiency testing or Measurement audit (once a year) for each accreditation scope
