A hospitality company in Ipoh is seeking a dedicated kitchen staff member to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils, organizing clean items, and assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation. Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, and dishes using proper washing methods.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, walk-in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
Organize and store clean dishes and equipment in their designated areas.
Assist in waste disposal and recycling procedures safely and efficiently.
Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are properly maintained.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines according to company and regulatory standards.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food prep or equipment setup when required.
Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
Ensure all working areas are kept clean and free of hazards.
Support banquet and service teams as needed, including setting up or cleaning after events.
