Job summary

A global home furnishing retailer is seeking a passionate candidate to contribute to a safety-first culture in food-related operations. Job Description
  • Actively contribute to create a "safety first" culture including to ensure all quality and food safety related policies and work routines are complied and practiced at all times.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and that routines and job requirements are known and practiced by your colleagues in all daily works.
  • Being passionate about the IKEA food range and always act as a natural source of know-how about IKEA food range, product sheets, production planning and food preparation, to ensure highest standard of presentation to inspire our guests.
  • Has active interest in local competition and always provide inputs that may help to promote our products to best show our competitive advantage.
  • Always train and coach by sharing your specialist competence with co-workers.
  • Acting quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback.
  • Contributes to departmental action plan and support the goals and targets set by your manager.
Qualifications

SPM or equivalent. Candidate who possesses qualification in Chef related education will be an added advantage. Work as a chef in training or an experienced chef.
