Job description

Yee Seet Fear is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our food production business. This is a full-time position that will involve a range of duties to assist our skilled chefs.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting chefs with food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, portioning, frying, steaming etc.
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
• Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Helping with the packing, storing, display and presentation of various selections.
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborating with the kitchen & production team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably as a Kitchen Helper or Prep Cook.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
• An interest in food and a willingness to learn new culinary skills.
