A leading coatings company is seeking a professional for sales development in Asia. This role involves defining sales plans, coordinating with global teams, and managing communication across time zones. Candidates should have a college degree and 4-6 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in coatings or related fields. Strong business acumen, sales management capabilities, and proficiency in solution selling are essential. The position offers opportunities for significant influence in expanding key accounts.
You will need to take charge of new business development in the rest of Asia.
Define sales plans and new business development activities and coordinate strategy with Global Key Account Managers
Work with global and regional segment managers, as well as technical and technical service organization to ensure support are provided to the Key Accounts
Use PPG internal network to influence decision making in Key Accounts to increase SOW with PPG in AP
Co-ordinates the activities of all departments with whom the customer has direct contact to provide a consistent and cohesive service.
Monitor competitive activity within accounts and communicate information to relevant parties.
Well prepare and deliver routine, project sales reports and presentation on time, prepare and oversee all internal and external delivery of sales presentations to key accounts and management to ensure sales on track.
Keep CRM and sales forecast up to date
Effectively managing communication across global time zones.
College degree or equivalent in a relevant experience.
Minimum of 4 - 6 years practical experience in a B2B sales environment with multinational customers
Strong business acumen, coupled with experience in sales management and business development
Experience in coating, chemical, compound, ink, metal, pre-treatment or similar environment or Experience in Industrial Consumer Electronics
Ability to work and influence effectively with management, sales teams and customers
Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects for internal and external contacts.
Proficiency in solution selling and value-based selling.
