As a Key Account Manager, you’ll own relationships with real estate agencies, banks and lenders, ensuring they utilise our payment gateway to track payments, and leverage valuation and risk analytics to optimise lending decisions. You’ll combine your understanding of real estate agencies and banks with relationship‑building skills to drive adoption, retention, and expansion.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in a startup—resourceful, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity while delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted advisor for assigned banks and non‑bank lenders.
- Build deep, multi‑stakeholder relationships across credit, risk, and business teams.
- Ensure client success through proactive engagement, onboarding, training, and continuous support.
Account Expansion & Retention
- Own the end‑to‑end account lifecycle: from growth strategy to upselling and renewal.
- Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities (e.g., regulatory modules, stress testing, market data services).
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to negotiate pricing and contract terms.
Commercial Ownership
- Achieve revenue and retention targets within your client portfolio.
- Track account performance metrics, usage trends, and client feedback to inform strategic action.
Industry and Product Insight
- Stay abreast of key real‑estate credit, lending, and risk regulatory developments (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9).
- Analyze client needs and market trends to inform product and service enhancements.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with product teams to translate client feedback into product improvements.
- Contribute to scalable processes and playbooks for onboarding, success tracking, and renewals.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in B2B sales/account management, ideally serving banks, non‑bank lenders, or fintechs.
- Strong grasp of collateral lending and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to engage credit, business and risk teams with credibility.
- Startup mindset: proactive, scrappy, and comfortable with minimal structure.
