Objectives
  • Provide Technical services and assistance (pre&post commissioning) in the field of petrochemical complex to Axens licensed technology units and non-Axens licensed units running with Axens catalyst/adsorbent, including troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
  • Provide monitoring and training on Petrochemical process such as selective hydrogenation, MTBE, homogeneous & heterogeneous oligomerization.
  • On‑site support for start‑ups, troubleshooting, inspections, catalyst/adsorbent loadings and activation for Petrochemical units.
Missions
  • Perform unit follow‑up analysing, monitoring the performances of current operating units in close coordination with the dedicated Technical Services Group from Axens SEA and other ROCs.
  • Supervise field activities during on‑site mission(s), write procedures and reports related to these missions.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting customers and reporting to Technical Services Group to make decisions.
  • Participate in the animation of customers trainings.
  • Participate in the promotion of Axens on its technology and services during technical meetings.
  • Support commercial activities in coordination with commercial team.
  • Promote and adhere to Quality standards in accordance with the Axens Headquarter Management Political and QHSE objectives when on site.
  • Fulfil the above at the expected Axens standard.
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIRED LEVEL
  • Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Chemical/Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Having at least 1 year of experience in operations in the field of refining / petrochemical is a must.
  • Knowledge of selective hydrogenation process in petrochemical complex scheme and units basic operation is a must.
  • Studies abroad or professional experience abroad are an asset.
  • Teamwork skills and ability to build‑up long term relationships with the customers.
  • Entrepreneurship and customer oriented spirit.
  • Well organized, rigorous, autonomous and responsible, analytical skills.
  • Keen to understand the technical background of Axens portfolio.
  • Required language(s): proficient in English.
  • The candidate must be prepared to travel often.
