Job description

We are seeking an experienced Junior Site Supervisor to oversee, coordinate, and execute all on-site construction activities throughout the project lifecycle. The role is responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements to achieve timely and successful completion of major infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day construction activities on site
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of construction workers
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address queries and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Assist with the planning and scheduling of tasks and resources

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates or with minimum 2-3 years' experience as a site supervisor or in a similar construction role
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and inspection requirements
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, inspection processes, and equipment
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a site-based environment
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Candidate must be willing to travel / outstation
