The Site Engineer / Site Supervisor will assist in overseeing and supporting daily operations of construction sites, ensuring projects progress smoothly and meet quality and safety standards. Site Supervision / Management
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and schedules.
- Support the team in ensuring all work follows safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Participate in regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
Coordination
- Communicate with site/project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to support smooth project execution.
- Help coordinate daily activities of construction crews and delivery of materials.
Quality Control
- Assist in checking that construction work meets quality standards.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors for resolution.
Safety Compliance
- Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings and help ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Reporting
- Assist in preparing progress reports and maintaining records of site activities.
- Report any incidents or delays to supervisors promptly.
Problem-Solving
- Identify potential challenges on-site and seek guidance to resolve them.
- Help address conflicts or issues as they arise.
Resource Management
- Support efficient use and maintenance of labor, materials, and equipment on-site.
Qualification
Experience
- Fresh graduate / 1 to 2 years of experience in construction
- Willingness to learn and grow in the construction field.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
Certifications
- Relevant certifications in construction safety (e.g., OSHA, First Aid, CPR) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions
