Job summary

A leading construction company in Malaysia seeks a Quantity Surveyor to assist with measurement, tender preparation, and evaluating project claims. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying. Fresh graduates are welcome, and training will be provided. Experience in high-rise projects is beneficial. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage, as the role involves interacting with expatriates. This position requires independent work and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Job Description

Assist in measurement, quantity take-off, and basic cost estimation works.

Support the preparation of tender documents and simple contractual documentation.

Assist in evaluating claims, variations, and progress payments under supervision.

Attend site visits, meetings, and joint measurements with the project team.

Provide administrative and coordination support to the QS / project team.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Candidates more advantage if you have experience in high-rise project such as residential, hotel, office tower, etc.

Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage as need to deal with China expatriates or workers.
