PTD Builder Sdn Bhd, located in the vibrant heart of TTDI, Kuala Lumpur, is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team!

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the procurement of building materials and related services
• Prepare, administer, and evaluate subcontractor awards, letters of award, and contractual documentation
• Review and assess subcontractors’ progress claims, suppliers’ invoices, and recommend payments
• Prepare tender and quotation evaluations, cost comparisons, and recommendations for approval
• Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ)
• Assist in tender costing, budgeting, and preparation of tender documents
• Call for quotations and support project budgeting and cost estimation
• Coordinate with site and project teams on contract administration, including variation orders (VO), extensions of time (EOT), progress verification, and cost control
• Attend joint valuations and final measurements with relevant stakeholders
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Basic to strong understanding of project costing and cost control
• Knowledge of contract administration, tendering, and procurement procedures
• Experience in quantity take-off using AutoCAD and preparation of Bills of Quantities
• Good planning, organisational, and time management skills
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving abilities
• Able to work independently, proactive, and self‑motivated
• Positive working attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
