Role Description

The Junior Tester will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying and documenting software issues, and collaborating with the development team to resolve bugs. Additional tasks include contributing to the creation of test plans, performing system performance testing, and verifying software functionality against user requirements.

The Senior Tester will oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of testing strategies to ensure software quality and performance. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving defects, creating test cases, conducting various forms of testing (functional, integration, system, and regression), and collaborating with development teams to ensure a seamless end-user experience. The role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and leadership in managing testing cycles.

Qualifications

• Only open to Malaysians.
• Junior: Minimum 1 year experience in software testing/related work.
• Senior: 4+ years experience in software testing/related work.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with debugging and defect tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring junior testers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
