A leading engineering firm in Selangor is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for semiconductor equipment. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor. We are principally involved in manufacturing of optical inspection, measurement & automated handling equipment.
In line with the business expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated candidate to fill up the vacancy of Junior Mechanical Engineer.
General Responsibilities:
Design and development of mechanical systems and components for semiconductor equipment.
Create and modify 3D models, technical drawings, and assembly instructions using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Support the development and testing of prototypes, including hands‑on assembly, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other components of the machinery.
Participate in the analysis of mechanical designs, including stress, thermal, and motion analysis, to ensure meet performance and reliability requirements.
Assist in the selection and specification of materials and components, ensuring they meet the required quality and cost criteria.
Document design changes, test results, and troubleshooting activities for future reference and compliance.
Support all of the department by providing technical assistance and advise and resolving mechanical issues.
To handle product modification based on customer request.
To upgrade/improve the quality and reliability of the product in term of design/modification.
To improve productivity and quality of the product in term of process improvement and assembly efficiency.
To prepare report or documentation on daily activity/project/task.
To increase product competitive in the market by looking at cost down program.
Need to be cost and quality awareness for all daily activity involved.
Ensure mechanical designs SOP & documentation comply with ISO standards.
Any other related tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronic/Automation) or equivalent.
Knowledge in Autodesk inventor CAD Software.
Fresh grad is welcome to apply.
Candidate with 1-2 years Mechanical design experience in Automation Equipment is an added advantage.
Candidates who familiar with mechanism driven by electro‑mechanical, motorized and pneumatic systems is an added advantage.
Computer literate (MS Office, Inventor and CAD software.)
Self‑starter, team player, well organized and highly motivated.
Able to work under pressure and min. supervision.
Possess own transport and willing to travel local/outstation if necessary.
