IKA Works (Asia) Sdn Bhd – Rawang, Selangor

We are seeking a young and talented Jr. Mechanical Engineering professional to join our team in Rawang. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative devices for use by scientists.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 2 years' experience in 3D & 2D mechanical engineering design of life sciences instruments, home appliances, or small devices
  • Proficiency in 3D design software, preferable AutoCAD Inventor
  • Knowledge of aluminum die casting and plastic injection molding
  • Good communication skills in English
What you'll be doing
  • Develop and design laboratory and analytical products
  • Prepare technical documentation and drawings (operation instruction, calibration certificate, assembly sequence, test parameters, etc.)
  • Prepare cost calculations at different design steps, from engineering to production
  • Conduct hazard and risk analysis for the products
  • Assemble and test functional prototype models
  • Attend and cooperate with the team on part change and quality issues
