Job summary

A leading subsea service provider in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant, Finance to perform various financial duties. Responsibilities include processing invoices, preparing payments, liaising with suppliers, and supporting the management on additional tasks. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in Accounting or Finance, possess 2-3 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge in SQL Accounting Systems is an advantage. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge in SQL Accounting Systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, debit notes & credit notes.

Assistant, Finance shall perform all the duties and responsibilities as required and to act as instructed by the Company. Assistant, Finance is responsible:

• Process invoices, debit notes & credit notes.
• Preparing payment and checking for supplier invoices and suppliers’ statements.
• Preparing manual PV for diver, WHT and etc.
• Upload payment into banking system and provide remittance advice once payment is cleared.
• Self-billed E-invoice for expact, foreign suppliers and etc.
• Liaise with supplier on payment schedule, payment advise and outstanding payment.
• Liaising with tax agent, auditors and other relevant authorities.
• Supporting Manager/Senior on additional tasks when required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting, finance or other relevant experience
• Knowledge and experience in SQL Accounting Systems will be add as advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Team player and strong interpersonal skills
