Overview

The Accounting Co WA Pty Ltd – Ipoh, Perak. We are a public practice firm based in Australia providing taxation services.

Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least diploma or bachelors in accounting
  • At least 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Good understanding of debits/credits and have knowledge of GST
  • Proficient in written and spoken English to be able to liaise directly with clients via e-mails
  • Proficient in computer skills such as software experience in Xero, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent organisational skills and high level of attention to details
Role & Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping and data entry tasks, including importing csv files to Xero and performing bank reconciliation
  • Accounts payable and receivable tasks such as issuing invoices and entering bills in Xero
  • Performing payroll for clients with strong understanding of PAYGW and superannuation treatment in Australia
  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers and be able to comprehend profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Coordinate with clients to request information as required
  • Administrative support and other ad-hoc duties such as filing and organizing documents in a shared cloud system
Schedule
  • Full time role (work from home)
  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 6pm Perth, WA time zone (with 1 hour lunch break)
  • Training and briefing will be provided via Microsoft Teams meetings. The pay can be negotiated for the right candidate depending on skill level.
