Job summary

A financial services company based in Klang City is seeking an accounting professional to handle day-to-day operations across accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger. iOBED (M) Sdn. Bhd. – Bukit Raja, Selangor

Handling day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, GL, and bank-related activities.

Support the month-end closing processes and preparation of financial schedules.

Handle accounting entries and ensure timely and accurate posting into the system.

Coordinate with relevant departments (procurement, warehouse, production, costing, HR, logistics) to ensure smooth financial workflow.

Overseeing the review and reconciliation of accounts, including inventory-related items where applicable.

Support financial reporting, management analysis, and audit requirements.

Ensure proper documentation, filing, and compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Provide support in tax or SST-related matters as needed.

Participate in continuous improvement of financial processes and contribute to system or workflow enhancements.

Handle general administrative and finance-related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager and CFO.

Perform any other duties as required from time to time to support the finance function.

Authority: Responsible for supporting finance-related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or CFO.

Required Skills/Abilities

Must possess at least a Diploma, bachelor's degree, or Professional Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Administration, or equivalent.

Understanding of data privacy standards; familiarity with business principles and practices. At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the position.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.

Have a strong sense of commitment, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.

Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed

Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SQL systems.

A very good command of English

Experience/familiarity with SQL systems is an added advantage
