About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our client’s growing technology team in Putrajaya. This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Experience Level

• Experienced Developer (3–6 years): Proven experience in software development using Waterfall or Agile methodologies. Solid understanding of development processes, including testing, code quality, and design principles.
• Senior Developer (6+ years): Strong development background in Waterfall or Agile environments. Excellent understanding of software design, testing, and quality assurance processes. Prior experience in technical leadership or mentoring within a development team.

Academic Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Alternative qualifications such as coding bootcamps will also be considered.
• ITIL certification is an added advantage.

Technical Skills Required

• Proven hands‑on experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git, though RTC is acceptable).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with JUnit for unit testing.
