This role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, providing technical assistance to staff, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent IT support in a dynamic professional services environment.
Provide first-level IT support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Set up and manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions in accordance with company policies.
Assist in the deployment and maintenance of business applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, accounting software, VPN).
Monitor and maintain IT inventory, including software licenses, hardware assets, and peripherals.
Support network administration tasks, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi‑Fi, and basic server maintenance.
Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with external vendors for IT procurement, repairs, and service contracts.
Educate staff on IT best practices, cybersecurity awareness, and efficient use of tools.
Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and office relocations.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferably possess 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Proficiency in Windows/macOS environments, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, such as desktops, laptops, printers, and software issues.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
