Job summary

A leading retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an IT Manager to oversee and support IT infrastructure, manage a team, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of POS systems, and leadership abilities. Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies, managing inventory, and ensuring data security, with opportunities for travel and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in a related field.
• 1 year of Assistant Manager or managerial experience in the same field.
• Retail and F&B working experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, support, and perform periodic maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Supervise and motivate IT support team.
• Develop and implement IT policies for data accuracy and security.
• Manage IT inventory, ensuring proper tagging and asset tracking.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to the superior.
