Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Install, configure, and maintain LIS software tailored to client requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration between diagnostic instruments and LIS, as well as connectivity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including laboratory staff and IT departments, to customize workflows and ensure system compatibility.
• Provide onsite, remote, and telephone support for LIS applications, addressing configuration issues, software errors, and system malfunctions.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity and system reliability.
• Lead or assist in project planning and execution, from initial hardware and software setup to system go-live.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
• Develop and generate comprehensive reports, such as test volume, turnaround times, and quality control metrics, to support laboratory operations and decision-making.
• Analyse data trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize laboratory workflows.
• Ensure that LIS operations comply with healthcare regulations and standards, including data security and patient confidentiality.
• Implement quality assurance protocols and maintain thorough documentation to support compliance audits.
• Conduct training sessions for laboratory personnel on LIS functionalities and best practices.
• Develop user manuals and support materials to facilitate effective system usage.
• Proficiency in Java for developing and maintaining digital library systems, web applications, and backend services.
• Experience with web development frameworks and web hosting platforms.
• Take care and in charge of all IT infrastructure of the company.
