A technology solutions provider in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator. The role involves maintaining hardware, software, Wi-Fi, and networks, providing technical support, and performing security monitoring. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5-10 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Intune and Azure is necessary, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Maintain hardware, software, Wi‑Fi, and networks.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff regarding computer systems, software and hardware including our branch in Singapore.
Perform regular security monitoring.
Assist with the purchase of new hardware equipment for onboarding new staff and replacing faulty hardware equipment for existing staff.
Setting up new hardware equipment of different kinds.
Working closely with Global IT on a regular basis, in line with global standards and requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of all IT equipment, including physical inventory, license numbers, and related record.
Strong hands‑on problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Support on application software where needed and agreed.
Other assigned duties as required.
