Job description

Overview

Lead and manage projects to ensure alignment with defined scope, objectives, schedules, and budgets.

Oversee multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely reporting.

Capable in identify potential risks and able to provide solutions to avoid/mitigate.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Communication – Engage with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, changes, and risks.
• Business Requirements – Understand business requirements, propose value‑adding ideas, and maintain open communication with internal teams and external vendors.
• Meeting Facilitation – Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership, including the preparation of approval documentation for project initiatives.
• Governance & Standards – Apply standardized project management methodologies and tools. Oversee Change Management procedures and ensure thorough project documentation. Ensure compliance with internal standards and specifications, and conduct lesson learnt / project post‑mortem review.
• Team & Vendor Management – Manage and ensure quality delivery by external suppliers. Lead project teams through SAT, SIT, UAT. Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove team impediments, and coach teams on Agile best practices.
• Requirements & Backlog – Proficient in gathering requirements through user stories, prioritizing tasks, facilitating workshops, and documenting outcomes. Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog management and promote Agile principles across teams.
• Continuous Improvement – Drive continuous improvement initiatives and track team performance using relevant metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with honors in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing and implementing software projects.
• Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Strong capability in project tracking and performance monitoring.
• Certified in PMP / Scrum Master practices.
• Prior experience in ITSM, ITAM, ITOM deployment is preferred.

Compensation & Logistics

Salary Range: Up to RM8,000.00

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM
