What you'll be doing?

Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals, driving efficiency and innovation.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise the IT team, fostering a collaborative work environment and managing performance.

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.>

Security Management: Ensure robust network security and data protection protocols are in place to safeguard the organization.

Project Management: Plan and manage IT projects, including upgrades and new implementations, ensuring timely completion.

Budget Control: Prepare and manage the IT budget, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost‑effective solutions.

Vendor Management: Build maintain relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts and overseeing service level agreements.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to regulations and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and processes.

Technical Support: Provide guidance and troubleshooting assistance to staff, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.

Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present reports on IT performance and projects to stakeholders.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience that demonstrates your expertise.

Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an IT Manager, and willing to work overtime when required.

IT Expertise: Experience in IT support, management, or a similar role, with a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and security.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT systems and databases, including SQL knowledge, to effectively manage and optimize technology resources.

Problem‑Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to tackle complex IT challenges and drive innovative solutions.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Language Skills: Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu, essential for clear communication with diverse stakeholders. Chinese language proficiency is an added advantage.

Project & Vendor Management: Experience in managing IT projects and vendor relationships is highly valued but not essential.

Independence: Capability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self‑motivation.

Bonus Skills: Familiarity with AI/ML Juris and JomNexus would be advantageous.
