Responsibilities

• Responsible for effective operations and administration of servers in a medium to large Windows environment.
• Handle complex Windows issues and perform day-to-day support of the server environment independently.
• Be part of a team that leads system implementation for production, testing and development, disaster recovery.
• Pro‑active monitoring and capacity planning of the server environment. Required to advise and lead complex system discussions and resolve technical issues.
• Provide high standard of technical support to end‑users.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent; or
• Diploma/Professional Certificate with minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in Windows System Administration.
• Experience in various operating systems, security, LAN technology, communication protocol and mediums, internet technology and configuration is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in diagnostic and troubleshoot skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, team player, highly motivated, well organized, and result oriented.
• Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper‑V, Microsoft SQL Database, Citrix and VMWare administration are additional advantages.
• Able to work out of office hours where necessary and on standby 24/7.
