About the Role

As part of FOZ One's expanding Data Engineering & Services team, you’ll work behind the scenes of our MES, ERP, and analytics platforms — helping turn raw system data into meaningful, high‑impact dashboards and tools. If you enjoy solving real business challenges through data, scripting, and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and decision‑making.

Assist in designing and maintaining data pipelines and structures to support BI dashboards and enterprise reporting.

Support data cleansing, cloning, and transformation tasks to ensure clean, consistent datasets for analytics and reporting use.

Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and loading from various systems (ERP, MES, IoT, external sources).

Data Services & Infrastructure

Administer and monitor Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure availability, reliability, and performance for key business systems (e.g., ERP, MES, BI tools).

Lead capacity planning, data retention policies, disaster recovery strategies, and high availability configurations.

Develop and maintain automated monitoring scripts, alerts, and maintenance plans using tools like SQL Agent, PowerShell, or third‑party monitoring solutions.

Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to align database performance with enterprise needs and ensure seamless system integration.

Ensure data governance, lineage tracking, and metadata management across enterprise datasets.

BI Platform & Reporting Support

Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to support BI dashboarding platforms.

Optimize and publish datasets for BI platform while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and access control.

Automate reporting workflows and ensure timely delivery of business‑critical insights.

Data Quality & Compliance

Implement data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance procedures to maintain data integrity.

Ensure all data handling complies with relevant security, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001).

Participate in audits and documentation for data services and analytics platform governance.

Ensure data security, compliance, and user access control in line with internal and external policies.

Qualification & Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

Preferable 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, database administration, or enterprise reporting.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and experience with T‑SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and data warehousing.

Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or V‑One is an added advantage.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 standards and data governance frameworks preferred.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently under pressure.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a team‑oriented mindset.
