Qualifications

  • Experience in Payment or Loan domain is a plus.
  • Ability to review Business Requirement Document (BRD) and develop corresponding Functional Solution Document (FSD) or Technical Solution Document (TSD).

Job Description

Clarifies and translates business requirements to IT system functional requirements, system interactions, and flows.

Works with business users to ensure compliance with policies and business rules.

Documents necessary components into functional specifications required by the Business and/or Technical Project Team.

Co‑ordinates with participating IT teams to clarify business requirements.

Provides training (train the trainer) and implementation support.

Performs documentation of system manuals.

Collaborates with business users and technical delivery teams in developing scalable and flexible IT solutions, including studying business and system impact, creating user stories, functional designs, test strategies, supporting delivery till go‑live and post‑live support.

Understands Software Development Life Cycle.

Understands business context of requirements, assesses gaps, and works with business to update requirement documents.

Based on the translated system feature list, analyses impact on existing IT systems, determines required changes, and defines necessary functional interaction/integration.

Develops functional solution design specifications for the IT technical team to use and creates corresponding technical solution design specifications, ensuring compliance with bank policies, security, and data governance standards.

Participates in project meetings to provide clarity and guidance on the functional solution design specification and updates documentation as necessary.

Develops test cases and scripts to validate that the delivered IT systems meet the specified functional design.

Analyzes impact, prioritizes, and updates the functional solution design document for any change requests raised by business.

Assists in production deployment planning (IT and business approval, readiness checks, live tests).

Provides post‑go‑live functional support until stabilization.

Documents data and interface specifications, working with technical teams to define business rules and interface rules.

Works with technical teams, including cross‑domain BA teams, to provide interface services and data requirements back to channels.

Acts as a techno‑functional Business Analyst, extending to business solution and system design roles.
