Job summary

A leading hospitality and entertainment company is seeking an HR Assistant Manager specializing in Industrial Relations. This role involves formulating HR policies, managing employee grievances, and ensuring compliance with the Employment Act. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in HR and strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, with excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage. This position is based in Malaysia, Pahang.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Industrial Relations or HR Generalist roles.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and related laws.
• Ability to independently manage Industrial Relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and review IR policies to promote industrial harmony.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team in managing grievances.
• Ensure compliance with Employment Act during disciplinary actions.
• Conduct Industrial Relations related training.
• Serve as Company representative in Industrial/Labour Court.
