Job summary

A leading food logistics company based in Penang is seeking a candidate for an inventory and logistics support role. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting in cycle counts, and providing administrative support to the sales team. Candidates must possess a diploma in a relevant field and have strong attention to detail. Good communication skills in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Mandarin are preferred. The role may require working on Saturdays or public holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Update inventory levels accurately in both Excel and ERP systems.

  • Help prepare documents for internal and external stock audits.
  • Support FIFO stock rotation and coordinate with the warehouse team.

Job description

To facilitate efficient and reliable logistics operations by providing comprehensive support to the Sales Team, ensuring timely coordination with stakeholders, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism in all tasks.

Responsibilities
Inventory Monitoring & Recording
  • Update inventory levels in the both excel and ERP system accurately and timely
  • Assist in tracking inbound and outbound stock movement
  • Maintain inventory records and stock cards
  • Generate standard inventory reports for management
Cycle Counts & Stock Audits
  • Assist in planning and coordinating cycle counts
  • Support variance investigation by collecting and reviewing data
  • Help prepare documents and records for internal and external stock audits
Stock Planning & Coordination
  • Support FIFO stock rotation and cold room space planning
  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper stock placement
Administrative Support
  • Liaise with procurement team of low stock items
  • Assist in maintaining accurate physical and system stock alignment
  • Ensure all stock-related documents are well filed and audit-ready
  • Print inventory labels to ensure accurate stock identification, traceability, and compliance with storage or shipping requirements.

Willing to standby to work on Saturday or public holiday if needed.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Supply chain, Logistics, or related fields.
