Job summary

A reputable interior design firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dedicated professional to assist the Project Manager in coordinating design projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design and at least 2 years' site working experience. Proficiency in Google Sketchup and independence in managing tasks are essential. Responsibilities include preparing quotations, managing resources, and liaising with contractors and suppliers. A certificate in relevant fields is required.

Qualifications

• Able to read & understand construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• To assist Project Manager in proposing interior design, project monitoring, scheduling, management & coordination on site.
• Prepare BQ, obtain quotations & finalize appointment of contractor/supplier
• Manage resource requirements & allocation
• Lia & coordinate with worker, supplier, technician & others in daily work activities.
• Update project status
• Solve on site issues

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years site working experience and min. 3 years in interior design
• Able to work independently
• Possess own transport
• Able to read & understand construction drawings
• Able to prepare 2d/3D design using Google Sketchup
• Knowledge in MEP has added advantage
• Computer literal (Microsoft Office /excel, Google Sketchup is a must )
• Min. Certificate in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent qualifications.
