Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in commercial design; fresh graduates for Junior Designer are welcome.
• Portfolio required; F&B experience is an advantage.
• Strong commitment and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior designer and architecture consultants for space planning.
• Develop CAD drawings and presentation boards.
• Conduct site visits to ensure project compliance with specifications.
• Record, report, and resolve design issues throughout the project.
• Source and select materials and accessories to enhance design.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the senior designer and architecture consultants to conceptualise the space planning.
• To develop CAD drawing, presentation board from design stage until construction stage with senior project designer.
• Site visit to ensure project are develop according to the specification and requirement.
• Initiative to record, report, resolve design related issues at all stages for the project.
• To Source and select materials, furnishing, lighting fixtures, and accessories that enhance the overall design concept and propose to team leader or Senior designer.
• To attend, coordinate and liaise with the architect consultant, M&E Engineering, landlord management, sub-contractor, material supplier and site inspection with client.
• Stay updated on industry design trends, local material supplier and sub-contractor.

Job Requirements / What we’re looking for

• Candidate to Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in designer / interior Architecture / Architecture / Project Management or any relevant field or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience of working experience on commercial design, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply for Junior Interior designer (Job scope to be discuss during interview).
• Strong design sensibility and enthusiastic team player with ability to meet tight deadline, has strong commitment and self-motivated.
• AutoCAD required ( Microsoft / Photoshop / ai illustrator is a PLUS).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English communication required ( Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and cantonese is a PLUS).
• Portfolio required ( F&B experience is an advantage ).
