A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Designer with a focus on FPSO Projects. The successful candidate will prepare detailed design guidelines, conduct design reviews, and support construction and commissioning activities. Proficiency in 2D and 3D design, along with tools like Autocad, AVEVA, and SPI, is essential. This position offers a competitive salary of RM 12,000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Experienced as Designer in major FPSO Projects with capability to prepare detailed design guidelines, design review, construction and commissioning support.
• Experienced in detailed design of Overall FPSO Topsides and Hull/Marine System.
• Experienced in 2D design such as block diagram, layout drawing, hook-up diagram, etc.
• Experienced in 3D modeling design, 3D layout and data extraction, management of interfaces and design reviews.
• Experienced in using Autocad / AVEVA / SPI for developing design deliverables such as Instrument List, I/O List, Cable List, Hook-up Diagram, Termination and Loop Diagram etc.
• Understand requirement for instrument installation practice and limitation, ergonomics, etc.
• Familiar with the systems and packages of other disciplines that contains controls and instrumentation (including mechanical, hydraulics, piping)
• Experienced in reviewing of vendor’s design documentation and incorporation of Vendor Data (VDI)
• Able to manage detailed design interface with Vendors, EPC Contractors, Shipyard etc.
• Able to provide support for the selection/specification of the associated control and instrumentation materials.
• Experienced in the phases of C&I Engineering detail design, allocation of work packages and schedule
