Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervision and monitoring construction works.
• Inspect and monitor each stage of construction.
• Report on the progress of works and prepare daily reports.
• Attend site and technical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements.
• Conduct QA/QC and regular inspections.
• Identify outstanding works and propose solutions.
• Ensure materials comply with contract specifications.
• Assist in site valuations for contractors' claims.
• Verify testing performed on site materials.

Job description

• Supervision and monitoring construction works in accordance with the contracts, construction drawings and procedures and method statement.
• Inspect and monitor each stage of construction works including piling, structural and architectural works, external works and infrastructure works.
• Regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of works, preparing and updating daily progress reports.
• Attend all site meetings and technical meetings.
• Ensure that works are carried out in compliance with local authority requirements.
• Conduct QA/QC and regular inspections, ensuring all works are completed with good workmanship and meet standards.
• Identify all outstanding works and problems encountered on site and propose mitigation solutions.
• Ensure that materials used are in accordance with contract specifications.
• Assist on site valuations in verifying contractors’ work done in progress claims.
• Verify and document all testing performed on site materials and systems.
• Maintain all relevant forms, documents, correspondences and records in relation to daily work records.
