Job summary

A leading food service company is looking for an Industrial Trainee in Food Services and Sciences. The intern will assist in daily food operations, support food quality and safety practices, and help with documentation related to food safety. Candidates should be pursuing a Diploma or Degree in relevant fields such as Food Science or Culinary Arts and have a strong interest in food operations. This role supports hands-on experience in a dynamic food environment in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Industrial Trainee - Food Services and Sciences

Assist in daily food service operations and kitchen workflow monitoring

Support food quality, hygiene, and safety practices in accordance with company standards

Assist in documentation related to food safety, quality control, and SOPs

Participate in food preparation, handling, and service processes

Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities (HACCP, GMP, Halal – where applicable)

Collect data, prepare basic reports, and assist in improvement initiatives

Work closely with operations, QA, and management teams

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing Diploma / Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related fields
  • Strong interest in food operations, quality, and food safety
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices is an advantage
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willing to learn, proactive, and responsible attitude
  • Able to commit for the full internship duration
