We are seeking a talented and driven Indoor as well as Outdoor Sales professional to join our team at Professional Plastics Sdn Bhd. In this full‑time position based in Penang, you will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Your expertise in consultative selling will be key to your success in this dynamic and rewarding role.
Identifying and prospecting for new sales leads through cold‑calling, networking and other lead generation activities
Conducting needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions
Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations to both individual and corporate clients
Negotiating contracts and closing sales to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in our CRM system
Providing excellent customer service to build long‑term relationships with clients
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and client satisfaction
Actively identify, prospect, and develop new customers through site visits, cold calls, referrals, and networking
Promote and sell company products/services to industrial, commercial, or institutional clients
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by management
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and product explanations to customers
Conduct regular outdoor visits to existing customers to maintain strong relationships
Understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions or recommendations
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, delivery status, and payment collection
Gather market feedback, pricing trends, and competitor activities
Identify potential new applications, industries, or opportunities for company products
Report market insights and customer feedback to management
Coordinate with operations, production, purchasing, logistics, and accounts to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Ensure customer requirements (specifications, delivery dates, documentation) are clearly communicated internally
Assist in resolving delivery, quality, or technical issues together with internal teams
Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales leads, quotations, and orders
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and update CRM or sales tracking systems
Ensure all sales documents comply with company procedures
Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the plastics or manufacturing industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients
Strong negotiation and closing skills to win new business
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting
Resourceful and proactive approach to problem‑solving
Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
