Job description

This company is seeking a professional Individual Tax Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex client engagements, provide high-quality tax compliancxe and advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage individual income tax engagements, including compliance planning, review of deliverables, risk management, and client account management.
• Monitor employment-related tax and regulatory developments and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and firm policies.
• Deliver advisory support and tax planning projects, working closely with Partners and Directors on client solutions and business development.
• Manage multiple engagements and engagement economics, ensuring timely delivery, service quality, and effective billing and collections.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams, providing coaching, technical guidance, training, and contributing to firm-wide initiatives.

Skills And Experience Required

• Professional accounting or tax qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, ACA, CTA, or equivalent).
• Strong experience in individual income tax/ employment tax within a professional services firm.
• Solid technical knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead engagement teams.
• Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in business development.
